Traditional 36-volt systems can become a collection of heavy cases, jumper cables and corrosion-prone terminals. Marine trolling-motor banks commonly create 36V by wiring three 12V lead-acid batteries in series, while many classic golf carts use six 6V batteries or another multi-battery configuration. Either approach occupies valuable space, adds substantial weight and allows system voltage to decline as the bank discharges.

A 38.4V-nominal LiFePO4 pack stays near its working voltage through most of the discharge, while a 36V lead-acid bank made from three 12V batteries declines more progressively as stored capacity is used.
A 36V lithium trolling motor battery is a strong choice for compatible high-thrust systems on tournament bass boats, bay boats and offshore center consoles. Current 36V-capable platforms include selected Minn Kota Ultrex and QUEST models, Garmin Force, Lowrance Ghost and Power-Pole MOVE systems. GPS anchoring and heavy wind or current can create sustained demand, making battery voltage, usable energy and continuous-output capability especially important.
Compatibility depends on electrical specifications, not brand name alone. Confirm the motor's required voltage and maximum current, then match the battery's continuous output, breaker, cable gauge, connectors and charger to the manufacturer's guidance. A flat LiFePO4 discharge curve helps maintain steadier voltage, but it cannot guarantee all-day runtime under every speed setting or condition.
A 36V lithium golf cart battery can transform many older and classic carts, including compatible EZGO TXT and Club Car DS configurations. Battery voltage must match the cart's electrical architecture. A 36V battery is not a proper substitute for a 48V battery, and a 48V battery must not be installed in a 36V cart without a complete, correctly engineered conversion. Verify the motor, controller, solenoid, charger, wiring, accessory voltage and regenerative-braking requirements before beginning an EZGO 36V lithium upgrade or another cart conversion.
A 36V deep cycle battery can also support compatible solar, backup, mobile and industrial equipment built around a 36V DC bus. Because 36V is less common than 12V, 24V or 48V in some markets, confirm that the inverter, solar charge controller, DC converter and charger support the battery's operating and charging range. Size cables, disconnects and overcurrent protection for the application's maximum current.
Epoch's 36V 50Ah Essential Series battery stores 1.92kWh, weighs approximately 35 pounds and supports 100A continuous discharge. A 36V 50Ah lithium battery holds about the same planned usable energy as three 12V 100Ah lead-acid batteries when that lead-acid bank is limited to roughly 50% depth of discharge. It is a compelling lightweight option for compatible trolling motors and other systems whose current and runtime requirements fit its ratings.
The 36V 100Ah lithium battery doubles stored energy to 3.84kWh and supports 120A continuous discharge. At approximately 75 pounds, it is intended for applications that need longer runtime, greater reserve or a larger daily energy budget. The model supports parallel expansion within Epoch's published limits, but matched batteries, balanced cabling, correct fusing and an appropriately sized charger are essential.
The 105Ah golf cart battery weighs approximately 81 pounds and delivers 200A continuous discharge, with substantially higher short-duration peak output for acceleration, hill climbing and regenerative charging. This is the collection's cart-focused solution. Actual driving range varies with vehicle weight, passenger load, tire diameter, lift height, terrain, speed, controller settings and driving style.
