Program overview
Purpose-driven support through battery donations
From conservation teams working in remote environments to STEM educators building hands-on learning experiences, reliable energy can help meaningful work go farther. Epoch Batteries reviews sponsorship and philanthropy requests from organizations, projects and events where battery donations can provide direct value.
Our goal is to support initiatives that are practical, mission-driven and capable of creating measurable community, environmental, educational or humanitarian impact.
Batteries, not cash
Philanthropic packages are limited and awarded on a rolling basis. We prioritize requests where our products can directly support a mission, project, fundraiser, raffle, educational program, environmental effort, disaster response or veteran-focused initiative.
What we look for
Impact first. Product where it helps.
The strongest requests clearly explain the mission, the people or environment being served, the product need, and how Epoch Batteries support will be used.
What makes a strong requestFocus areas
Causes and projects we prioritize
Six kinds of work where a battery donation goes furthest, from the water to the classroom to the people who served.
01 Ocean cleanup
Waterway and marine stewardship
We consider requests that support ocean cleanup, river and lake cleanup, marine conservation, boating-based outreach and projects that help protect waterways.
02 STEM education
Hands-on learning and innovation
We support educational initiatives that help students, clubs, schools and technical programs learn about batteries, energy storage, engineering, mobility and renewable power.
03 Conservation
Protecting land, water and wildlife
We review requests for conservation projects where reliable battery power can support field work, monitoring, restoration or outreach.
04 Disaster relief
Power when communities need it most
We consider product-support requests connected to preparedness, recovery, emergency response and community resilience efforts.
05 Veterans
Supporting those who served
We value opportunities to support veteran-focused organizations, programs, fundraisers and community efforts with a clear mission and direct impact.
06 Fundraisers and raffles
Product donations for good causes
We review battery donation requests for fundraisers, raffles, auctions and community events that benefit qualified causes or meaningful local initiatives.
How we help
Product-based support for practical impact
Support is in-kind: the right battery or product package for the project, matched to how it will be used.
Battery donations
In-kind product support
Support may include battery donations or product packages that align with the project's application and intended use.
Event support
Fundraisers and raffles
We may support qualified charitable events through product donations that can be used for raffles, auctions or fundraising efforts.
Mission projects
Power for field work
Product support may help mission-driven teams power equipment, mobility, lighting, electronics or energy systems.
Technical fit
Application alignment
Strong requests explain the voltage, capacity, charging, installation and use-case requirements, so the right product fit can be evaluated.
Important: Sponsorship and philanthropy support is not guaranteed. Requests are reviewed on mission alignment, available inventory, project timing, product fit and the potential for meaningful impact.
Request fit
What makes a strong philanthropy request
A clear mission, a direct use for the product and enough detail to review it.
Requests we can evaluate more effectively
Strong fit
- A clear mission, cause, event or project purpose
- A direct connection between the requested battery and the project outcome
- Defined timing, location, audience and expected impact
- Specific product needs, such as voltage, capacity, application or equipment requirements
- Photos, website links, social media links or documentation that help validate the request
- A plan to share project results, event outcomes or community impact after support is provided
Requests that may be difficult to approve
Less likely to fit
- Cash-only sponsorship requests
- Requests without a clear charitable, educational, environmental, community or humanitarian purpose
- Incomplete submissions or requests without contact information
- Requests that do not explain how the battery will be used
- Projects with timelines too short to review, approve and fulfill properly
- Requests that do not align with Epoch Batteries product capabilities or safe use guidelines
