<li><strong>Coverage:</strong> Defects in materials and workmanship when used in accordance with Epoch instructions, manuals, and published guidelines.</li>
<li><strong>Who is covered:</strong> The original purchaser only. Proof of purchase is required. Warranty is non-transferable.</li>
<li><strong>Register within 90 days:</strong> Register your battery within 90 days of purchase for full coverage. If not registered within 90 days, the warranty start date will be the product’s manufacturing date.</li>
<li><strong>How to start a claim:</strong> Submit a request through the Epoch Warranty Portal. Provide the serial number, proof of purchase, a description of the issue, and photos if available. If approved, you will receive an RMA and shipping instructions.</li>
<li><strong>Shipping to Epoch (batteries):</strong> You are responsible to properly package and <strong>pay shipping/handling/insurance</strong> to send the battery to our service center for inspection and warranty service. We do not provide prepaid labels and we do not accept freight collect/COD shipments.</li>
<li><strong>Packaging matters:</strong> Batteries must be packaged in compliance with applicable shipping regulations (including use of a UN-approved lithium battery shipping box). Damage in transit due to improper packaging is not covered.</li>
<li><strong>What happens next:</strong> After we receive and inspect the product, we will determine whether it is covered and apply an available remedy (repair, replacement, discounted replacement offer, or other remedy as permitted by law and described below).</li>
<li><strong>Uncharged exclusion:</strong> Batteries left uncharged for over <strong>three (3) months</strong> are excluded (periodic charging is required for storage).</li>

<h2>1) Overview</h2>
<p>
EDG Sales International LLC (the manufacturer, referred to in these Terms as “Epoch Batteries,” “Epoch,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) warrants, subject to the exclusions and limitations set out below, Epoch Batteries-branded products (the “Product”) against defects in materials and workmanship during the applicable warranty period (the “Warranty Period”).

This Limited Warranty applies to the original consumer purchaser with valid proof of purchase and/or proof of delivery. The Warranty Period begins on the Warranty Start Date described below and is valid only for eligible Products purchased from Epoch Batteries or authorized sellers.

<h2>2) Statutory rights</h2>
<p>
This Limited Warranty does not affect your statutory rights under the laws relating to the sale of consumer products. The benefits provided by this Limited Warranty are in addition to rights provided by consumer law.

<h2>3) Battery registration (required for full coverage)</h2>
<p>
To ensure full warranty coverage, your battery must be registered within <strong>90 days</strong> of purchase.

<li>If registration is not completed within 90 days of purchase, the Warranty Start Date will be the product’s <strong>manufacturing date</strong>.</li>

<h2>4) Proof of purchase and transferability</h2>
<ul>
<li><strong>Proof of ownership</strong> (sales receipt/invoice) is required for any warranty claim.</li>
<li>This Limited Warranty is <strong>non-transferable</strong> and applies only to the <strong>original purchaser</strong>.</li>
</ul>
<h2>5) What is covered</h2>
<p>
Epoch warrants eligible Products against defects in materials and workmanship when used in accordance with Epoch user manuals, technical specifications, and other Product published guidelines during the Warranty Period.
</p>
<p>
<strong>Important:</strong> Remedies available under this Limited Warranty relate to <strong>parts and labor only</strong>. Shipping and handling are addressed separately below.
</p>
<h2>6) Warranty service options</h2>
<p>
Warranty service is currently provided via mail-in service. To receive warranty service, you must contact Epoch for problem determination and follow the service procedure described in these Terms.
</p>
<h2>7) Shipping & inspection responsibilities</h2>
<h3>Customer must ship to Epoch for inspection (all products)</h3>
<p>
All warranty evaluations require return of the Product to Epoch Batteries for inspection and testing. The customer is responsible for arranging and paying for shipment to Epoch, including all shipping, handling, packaging, insurance, and any duties/taxes/fees associated with the shipment.
</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>No prepaid labels:</strong> Epoch Batteries does not provide prepaid shipping labels.</li>
<li><strong>No freight collect/COD:</strong> Epoch Batteries does not accept freight collect/COD shipments.</li>
<li><strong>RMA required:</strong> Shipments without a valid RMA may be refused.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Packaging & compliance</h3>
<p>
Customers must package products safely and in full compliance with applicable shipping regulations. For batteries, use a <strong>UN-approved lithium battery shipping box</strong> and comply with all hazardous materials requirements.
</p>
<p>
Epoch Batteries is not responsible for damage incurred in transit due to improper packaging. Shipping insurance is strongly recommended.
</p>
<h3>Return shipment back to the customer</h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>Batteries:</strong> After inspection, repair, or replacement, return shipping and handling back to the customer will be handled by Epoch for approved in-warranty battery service.</li>
<li><strong>Chargers & accessories:</strong> Unless otherwise required by applicable law, customers are responsible for shipping/handling fees both to and from Epoch for chargers and accessories (see sections below).</li>
<li><strong>Non-warranty outcomes:</strong> If the Product is determined not to be covered, the customer is responsible for all costs, including parts, labor, and shipping/handling.</li>

<h2>8) How to make a claim under this Limited Warranty</h2>
<ol>
<li><strong>Start your request:</strong> Log in to the Warranty Portal and submit a claim request with the Product serial number, proof of purchase, a brief description of the issue, and any relevant photos.<br>

<li><strong>Get an RMA:</strong> If your request is approved for evaluation, you will receive an RMA number and packing/shipping instructions.</li>
<li><strong>Ship to Epoch:</strong> You must arrange and pay for shipping the Product to Epoch Batteries for inspection. We do not provide prepaid labels.</li>
<li><strong>Inspection & decision:</strong> After inspection, Epoch will determine whether the issue is covered by this Limited Warranty and apply an available remedy.</li>
</ol>
<p>
Any claim under this Limited Warranty is subject to you notifying Epoch of the alleged defect within a reasonable time of it coming to your attention and, in any case, no later than the expiry of the applicable Warranty Period.

<h2>9) Remedies</h2>
<p>
If a claim is received within the Warranty Period and the Product is found to have failed due to a covered defect, Epoch will, at its option and to the extent permitted by applicable law:
</p>
<ul>
<li>repair the Product; or</li>
<li>replace/exchange the Product with a product of the same model (new or refurbished); or</li>
<li>replace/exchange with a different model with comparable features and at least equivalent or upgraded function; or</li>
<li>provide another remedy described in these Terms (including discounted replacement offers where applicable); or</li>
<li>refund part or all of the purchase price in exchange for return of the Product (where applicable and permitted by law).</li>
</ul>
<p>
Product or part(s) repaired or replaced during the Warranty Period will be warranted for the remainder of the original Warranty Period from the date of repair or replacement.

<h2>10) Battery coverage by model (remedy schedule)</h2>
<p>
If a valid battery warranty claim is submitted and the battery is determined to be non-repairable, the following replacement terms apply based on the model and time since purchase. All replacement offers are based on the most comparable product available at the time of the claim and are subject to current pricing and availability.

<p>
<strong>Note:</strong> Shipping/handling are not included in any remedy. The customer is responsible for shipping the battery to Epoch for inspection and service.
</p>
<h3>Epoch ECO SERIES models</h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>Years 1–3:</strong> Repair or replace with a comparable product at no cost (parts and labor).</li>
<li><strong>Years 4–5:</strong> Comparable product offered at <strong>40% off</strong> the retail MSRP at the time of the offer.</li>
<li><strong>After Year 5:</strong> Comparable product offered at <strong>25% off</strong> the retail MSRP at the time of the offer (within the applicable Warranty Period).</li>
</ul>
<h3>Epoch ESSENTIAL models</h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>Years 1–3:</strong> Repair or replace with a comparable product at no charge for parts and labor.</li>
<li><strong>Years 4–5:</strong> Comparable product offered at <strong>40% off</strong> the retail MSRP at the time of the offer.</li>
<li><strong>After Year 5:</strong> Comparable product offered at <strong>25% off</strong> the retail MSRP at the time of the offer (within the applicable Warranty Period).</li>
</ul>
<h3>48V GC2 golf cart models</h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>Years 1–3:</strong> Repair or replace with a comparable product at no charge for parts and labor.</li>
<li><strong>Years 4–5:</strong> Comparable product offered at <strong>40% off</strong> the retail MSRP at the time of the offer.</li>
<li><strong>After Year 5:</strong> Comparable product offered at <strong>25% off</strong> the retail MSRP at the time of the offer (within the applicable Warranty Period).</li>
</ul>
<h3>All other battery models</h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>Years 1–5:</strong> Repair or replace with a comparable product at no charge for parts and labor.</li>
<li><strong>After Year 5:</strong> Comparable product offered at <strong>25% off</strong> the retail MSRP at the time of the offer (within the applicable Warranty Period).</li>
</ul>

<h2>11) What is not covered (warranty exclusions)</h2>
<p>
This Limited Warranty does not apply to any Product that has been subjected to improper use, handling, installation, storage, or conditions outside of specified guidelines. Specifically, the warranty will be void under the following circumstances (including, without limitation):
</p>
<ul>
<li>Damage resulting from the battery being unsecured or improperly secured</li>
<li>Improper installation, usage, maintenance, or servicing</li>
<li>Loose or improperly connected battery terminals</li>
<li>Connecting in series or parallel beyond the manufacturer recommendations for that battery model</li>
<li>Reverse polarity connections</li>
<li>Storage under inappropriate conditions, including:
<ul>
<li>Exposure to extreme temperatures (above 140°F or below -40°F)</li>
<li>Fire or water submersion</li>
<li>Prolonged storage in a fully discharged state</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Short circuits caused by accidental, intentional, or inadvertent connection of positive and negative terminals</li>
<li>Damage due to physical impact, collision, or dropping</li>
<li>Use with incompatible third-party products that result in Product failure</li>
<li>Excessive electrical resistance due to corroded terminals, poor crimps, or undersized cables</li>
<li>Failure caused by faults in the external electrical system</li>
<li>Any Product that has been opened, modified, altered, or tampered with in any way</li>
<li>Use of the Product in applications for which it was not designed, including:
<ul>
<li>Repeated engine starting (for models not designed for cranking)</li>
<li>Drawing current in excess of the battery’s rated discharge capacity</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li><strong>Batteries left uncharged for over three (3) months</strong> (periodic charging is required to maintain cell health and proper storage while not in use)</li>
<li>Any damage incurred during transit due to improper or non-compliant packaging</li>
</ul>

<h2>12) Epoch chargers limited warranty</h2>
<p>
Epoch Batteries warrants that chargers sold under the Epoch brand, whether directly or through authorized distributors and dealers, are free from defects in materials and workmanship for <strong>two (2) years</strong> from the original date of purchase, as verified by the buyer’s sales receipt.
</p>
<p>
If a charger is found to be defective during the Warranty Period, it may be eligible for replacement at no charge for the product itself, provided the issue is determined to be a manufacturing defect and not due to misuse, improper installation, physical damage, unauthorized modifications, or exposure to unsuitable environmental conditions.
</p>
<p>
<strong>Shipping & inspection:</strong> The customer must ship the charger to Epoch for inspection at their expense and is responsible for all shipping/handling fees both to and from Epoch regardless of outcome.
</p>
<p>
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
</p>

<h2>13) Accessories limited warranty</h2>
<p>
Epoch Batteries warrants that accessory components (including but not limited to chargers, fuel gauges, voltage reducers, and other accessories) sold by Epoch Batteries or its authorized distributors and dealers will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for <strong>one (1) year</strong> from the date of purchase, as indicated on the buyer’s sales receipt.
</p>
<p>
During this Warranty Period, any qualifying accessory found to be defective may be eligible for replacement.
</p>
<p>
<strong>Shipping & inspection:</strong> All shipping and handling charges to and from Epoch are the customer’s responsibility. Accessories must be returned to Epoch for inspection to validate any claim.
</p>

<h2>14) Limitations of liability</h2>
<p>
To the extent permitted by applicable law, this Limited Warranty is your sole and exclusive remedy and Epoch’s sole and exclusive liability for defects in the Product. Epoch does not assume liability for loss of or damage to data, loss of profit, loss of use, loss of business, loss of contracts, loss of revenues, loss of anticipated savings, increased costs or expenses, or any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from ownership or use of the Product.
</p>
<p>
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Epoch’s liability shall be limited to the purchase value of the Product. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.
</p>
<h2>15) General</h2>
<p>
If any term is held to be illegal or unenforceable, it will be excluded from these Terms and the legality or enforceability of the remaining terms shall not be affected.

<p>
These Warranty Terms supersede all previous Epoch warranty statements or marketing materials to the extent permitted by law.
