Designed for 12V Applications

At Epoch Batteries, we are proud to offer our customers the highest quality lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries for marine applications. Our batteries have been specifically designed and engineered to meet the demanding needs of the marine industry, providing superior performance, safety, and longevity.

One of the key advantages of our LiFePO4 batteries is their exceptional safety. Our batteries have built-in protection circuits that prevent overcharging and over-discharging, greatly reducing the risk of fires or explosions. Additionally, our batteries have a high thermal stability, which means they can withstand high temperatures without catching fire. This makes them the perfect choice for marine applications where a high level of safety is required.

Another advantage of our LiFePO4 batteries is their long lifespan. Our batteries have a cycle life of up to 3,500 cycles at 80% depth of discharge, which is much longer than traditional lead-acid batteries and other lithium-ion batteries. This means that they need to be replaced less often, saving our customers money and time in the long run.

Our LiFePO4 batteries also have a higher energy density than lead-acid batteries, which means they can store more energy in a smaller space. This is particularly useful for marine applications where space is often limited. They also have a lower weight than lead-acid batteries, which makes them easier to handle and install.

Our LiFePO4 batteries also have a much wider operating temperature range than lead-acid batteries, which means they can be used in a variety of different environments. They can also be discharged to a much lower level than lead-acid batteries without damaging them, which means they can be used more efficiently.

Our LiFePO4 batteries also have a faster charging time than lead-acid batteries, which means they can be recharged more quickly and can be used more frequently. They also have a low self-discharge rate, which means they can be stored for longer periods of time without losing their charge. This is particularly useful for marine applications where the battery may not be used for long periods of time.

At Epoch Batteries, we are committed to providing our customers with the best possible products and services. We are confident that our LiFePO4 batteries are the best choice for marine applications and stand behind them with a comprehensive warranty.

    Good so far

I have used the battery a few times now on the water and everything works as it should, it is really handy to be able to connect to the battery from my phone and check the state while on the water. I do wish the form factor was a little better, it seems as though the 50 AH battery is in the 100 AH case so it seems like it is way larger than it needs to be.

    Small Glitch

Shipping was fast and it came packed very secure and neat. I unboxed it, read the manual, downloaded the app, and pushed the on button....nothing. I was so disappointed because I've had my eye on one of these for quite awhile and budgeted the money to go ahead and get one to use as a trolling motor. I wrote customer service, and they responded by giving me the telephone number to tech support. I decided to read the reviews for this particular battery and found that another purchaser had the same problem and after opening the top of the battery, found that one of the connectors had separated(slid out) of its connection slot(see picture).

I re-connected the connector and put the top back on. It came right on and showed up on the app with all the parameters. It was about 30% charged so I put it on the charger at a constant 20 amps and it charged in about an hour and a half.

I haven't had it out yet but it's working fine and is a really cool battery. Why did I give it 5 stars when there was an issue?, Well, the way I look at it is that who knows if providence didn't just save me from something happening while out in the remote areas, better that it happened in shipping. I'm totally happy with the purchase despite the connector and can't wait till I get a chance to try it out.

Great battery that seems to be well constructed. Bluetooth app has all the information that I need. I'm currently running a Garmin 106 and Livescope on this battery and 8 hours of fishing uses about 52% of the total capacity. Currently have a 100ah battery on the way which shoud be more than enough to power the other 3 graphs on the boat. The only improvement that I'd like to see is a smaller case for the 50ah battery. It shows to be the same size as the 100ah battery so I would think there is some spare room to allow decreasing the overall footprint.

    12V 50 AH

ordered two batteries and one showed up with out a working on/off switch and the bluetooth would not connect. after speaking with customer service I opened up the case and found that one of the wire connectors had come unplugged. problem solved. the only other other issue is that the case was larger than the lead acid battery that I was replacing and these batteries barely fit into the battery bay of my bass boat. had to do some slight case modifications to the mounting feet to get them to fit. trolled my 18' bass boat for about 6 hours the first day and only used about 20% of the available power.
