When shoppers compare best-selling golf cart batteries, they are looking for more than an amp-hour number. They want a battery that fits their cart, holds up through the ride, charges with the right equipment and takes less work to own. Epoch's golf cart LiFePO4 kits answer those needs with single-battery lead-acid conversions and choices for different voltages, routes and battery bays.
The 48V 105Ah complete kit is a well-reviewed choice in Epoch's golf cart lineup, with a combination of usable energy, 200A continuous output and the core conversion parts in one package. A 48V 65Ah kit suits compatible carts with shorter, lighter routes; a compact 105Ah Mini addresses the Club Car DS; and a 36V complete kit serves compatible classic carts. The right battery is the one matched to your cart and how you drive it.
These Epoch selections give owners a clear alternative to an aging lead-acid bank: fewer batteries and jumpers, no watering, a lithium charger, useful charge monitoring and a cleaner battery compartment. Start with your existing voltage and cart configuration, then use the comparison below to narrow your choice.
Epoch also offers U.S.-based product support, which is useful when a cart has been modified or its original charging equipment is unclear. Confirm the battery's exact configuration and included hardware before buying, so the charger, mount and accessory plan fit the cart together.
Popular golf cart batteries still need a precise fit. Check the original system voltage, model year, tray measurements, controller draw and daily route before choosing a kit. These options cover common conversion scenarios without treating one pack as the right answer for every cart.
| Epoch option | Why consider it | What to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| 48V 105Ah complete kit | A well-reviewed all-around choice with charger, gauge, converter and configuration-specific brackets. | 48V cart, battery bay, controller and the correct E-Z-GO, Club Car or Yamaha option. |
| 48V 65Ah complete kit | A smaller energy reserve for compatible carts on routine shorter routes. | Route length, load, power demand and available cart-specific configuration. |
| 48V 105Ah Mini kit | A different footprint; Epoch recommends the Mini for a compatible 48V Club Car DS. | DS voltage, tray clearance, hold-downs, charger wiring and controller. |
| 36V complete kit | A voltage-matched upgrade path for compatible 36V E-Z-GO TXT or Club Car DS lead-acid carts. | Actual 36V drivetrain, model configuration, tray, cables and charging setup. |
| 48V 150Ah or 230Ah kit | Higher-capacity alternatives for longer routes or demanding compatible builds. | Larger battery footprint, current requirements and offered mounting configuration. |
Epoch's 48V 105Ah golf cart battery complete kit brings together a single LiFePO4 battery, 48V 15A lithium charger, dashboard gauge, 12V converter and cart-specific mounting choices. It is offered with options for E-Z-GO TXT and RXV, Club Car Precedent and select Yamaha layouts. Epoch also describes compatibility with appropriately matched lead-acid Onward carts. Check the precise configuration and battery bay for your model year.
This kit is a compelling answer for a neighborhood cruiser or a cart that carries passengers and needs more energy reserve than a smaller 48V pack. Its listed 200A continuous discharge supports many standard carts and some upgraded builds when controller demands stay within battery limits. Terrain, passenger weight, speed, tire size and modifications determine actual range. The battery's app and gauge let you check charge before an extended drive.
The 48V 105Ah product page also carries substantial customer feedback. Read comments from owners with a model like yours, then compare their experience with the published fitment and electrical specifications. The cart's voltage, tray space and controller needs remain the final selection checks.
For a 48V Club Car DS, Epoch directs owners to the 105Ah Mini. That model's different shape and DS configuration make fitment planning more specific than choosing by capacity alone.
A classic 36V cart can move from a multi-battery lead-acid bank to Epoch's single-battery 36V complete kit when voltage, tray and controller match. For a compatible 48V cart with a shorter daily route, the 65Ah kit offers the same complete-kit approach in a lower-capacity option. Choose by how far and how often you drive, not simply by the voltage printed on the case.
The 48V 105Ah Mini gives certain carts a different case shape while retaining 105Ah of capacity. Epoch's 150Ah and 230Ah kits give owners additional energy options for longer trips, more passengers or higher electrical demand when the larger battery and current rating fit the cart. Battery capacity helps set range potential; the route, load and installation determine the real result.
For a group of carts, identify each platform and voltage before standardizing kits or chargers. Matching the right configuration to each vehicle makes installation and future battery checks more predictable for a course, campground or rental operation.
Use a LiFePO4-compatible charger rather than assuming the old lead-acid charger has the right profile. “Drop-in” describes an easier fit in the factory battery area for a compatible cart; it still calls for correct mounting, wiring and charging.
Epoch's most appealing golf cart choices combine a cleaner lead-acid conversion with useful monitoring, a matched charger and capacities for different driving patterns. The 48V 105Ah kit is a strong starting point for many compatible carts; the 36V, 48V 65Ah, Mini and extended-capacity options let you refine that choice around the cart you actually own.

Hustler Zeon zero turn lawnmower
My project was to convert my 48V Hustler Zeon mower from Lead-acid to Lithium Batteries. After reviewing the Epoch batteries online and speaking with a sales-person, I found that the Epoch Mini was a good fit for the existing battery compartment size. Upon receiving the kit, I found that the length and width left me with room for the charger to be mounted adjacent to the battery. The only "hold-my-breath" moment came when it looked as though the height might be a problem because the cover for the battery compartment is the seat. Upon lowering the seat, I found that the clearance is about 1/2". I completed the battery, charger port, gauge and start button install and was delighted at the outcome. Because I have another mower, I have yet to put it to the endurance test. The only issue that I have is with the 48V to 12V converter. I am not sure how to hook it up. but since I have no 12V accessories on the mower, it is not that important. Thank you for your assistance in completing my project successfully.

Awesome power. Holds charge. No worries about running out of juice like the Lead Acid.
Great Battery!
This is a great battery! Installation was very simple. Now we have no maintenance to speak of, the cart is lighter and much faster.
