Every RV trip asks something different from its house batteries. A weekend at a powered site may call for lights and a water pump, while a week of boondocking adds refrigeration, fans, solar charging and possibly an inverter. A lead-acid bank can take up much of the available compartment yet leave less practical energy than its nameplate suggests. Epoch's RV Bestsellers bring LiFePO4 storage into Group 31 and Group 8D-sized choices with lighter maintenance and steadier power.
The Epoch RV Bestsellers collection features Eco, Essential and Elite models for different voltages and demands. Many include built-in Bluetooth so owners can check charge before an off-grid night or a long travel day. The listed 12V 314Ah Eco has no built-in Bluetooth or internal heating; it is a simpler capacity-focused option. Choose by the RV's existing voltage, energy needs, charging setup and battery-bay measurements rather than treating all bestsellers as the same battery.
Using space well is about more than a battery's amp-hour label. Compare kilowatt-hours for energy, current limits for inverter output, and actual case dimensions for fit. A higher-capacity single case can replace several lead-acid batteries in some RVs and remove inter-battery links, but the result depends on the old bank and the new mounting plan. Allow room for handles, terminals, cable bends and access to disconnects.
These selected collection models show how the Eco, Essential and Elite choices solve different RV storage problems. The 12V options are candidates for a compatible 12V house system. The 24V and 48V models belong in systems designed around those voltages, with a matching inverter, charger and accessories.
| Epoch battery | Energy and case | Monitoring and RV role |
|---|---|---|
| 12V 314Ah Eco | 4.02kWh; 57 lb; Group 31; IP54. | Value-focused 12V house storage; no built-in Bluetooth or heating. |
| 12V 334Ah Essential | 4.28kWh; 60 lb; Group 31; IP54. | More compact-house energy with Bluetooth and internal heating. |
| 12V 460Ah Essential | 5.89kWh; 84 lb; Group 8D; IP54. | Larger 12V house bank with Bluetooth and internal heating. |
| 12V 460Ah V2 Elite | 5.89kWh; 97 lb; Group 8D; IP67. | Bluetooth, heating and Victron communications for a compatible connected system. |
| 24V 230Ah V2-T Elite | 5.89kWh; 97 lb; Group 8D; IP67. | Connected 24V storage with Bluetooth, heating and a serviceable Class T fuse. |
| 48V 100Ah V2-T Elite | 5.12kWh; 97 lb; Group 8D; IP67. | Higher-voltage systems with Bluetooth, heating and Victron communications. |
Other models in the collection include the 12V 300Ah Essential, a 12V 334Ah MC Essential with Victron communication for protected indoor placement, a 12V 460Ah V2-T Elite and a 24V 230Ah V2 Elite. The MC case is IP21 rather than IP54 or IP67. Check each product's current specifications and installation environment before choosing.
For a travel trailer, motorhome or camper using a 12V house system, list the draw from lights, fans, water pump, refrigerator controls and other essentials over a normal day. A Group 31 Eco or Essential can concentrate substantial energy in one case where a lead-acid bank may occupy more space for the same practical runtime. Select the Essential if built-in Bluetooth and heating matter; choose Eco for a simpler setup with an optional external monitor.
The battery group is a starting point, not a guarantee that the new case fits the old compartment. Measure the tray, straps, cables and clearances, and make sure the charger and RV converter can follow the selected lithium profile. The 12V house battery is not automatically an engine-start replacement for the motorhome.
Longer stays may involve overnight refrigeration, laptops, water pumps and an inverter for occasional AC loads. The 460Ah 12V models offer 5.89kWh in a Group 8D-sized case, but the inverter's continuous and start-up demand must remain inside the battery's output limits. Account for solar production, cloudy days and a return-trip reserve rather than relying on an advertised mileage or runtime.
A purpose-built 24V or 48V RV system can use the corresponding Elite battery with a correctly matched inverter and charging equipment. These are not simple swaps into a 12V coach. Elite communication can help compatible Victron equipment coordinate charging; an installer must still verify the harness, programming, cables and downstream protection. V2-T models add integrated Class T protection, but circuits still require correctly sized fuses or breakers.
Bluetooth-equipped Essential and Elite models let a compatible phone near the battery show state of charge and available readings such as voltage, current and temperature. Check after shore charging, before a night on the inverter or following a low-solar day. Local Bluetooth is useful for trip decisions; remote monitoring through a connected system needs additional networked equipment and configuration.
The 314Ah Eco in this collection has no built-in Bluetooth. Epoch offers an optional Victron SmartShunt for suitable banks, which estimates charge from external voltage and current measurements through VictronConnect. It does not provide direct Eco cell or BMS telemetry. Choose the monitoring path before wiring the bank so all charge and load current can be measured correctly.
Every collection model has a protective BMS. Heated Essential and Elite batteries can prepare cells for charging in cold conditions when charging power is available; the Eco model is unheated and may block charging below its safe range. A BMS cutoff can interrupt RV loads if voltage, current or temperature exceeds a limit, so size equipment and maintain a reserve. Enclosure ratings vary by model and do not apply to exposed terminals or chargers.
Do not parallel the old lead-acid batteries directly with the new lithium house bank. A properly matched conversion can reduce battery maintenance and give the RV a more predictable supply, but the charging sources and electrical protection determine whether the benefits last. Seek an installer for a multi-source, high-inverter or unclear factory wiring system.
Epoch's RV Bestsellers offer a range from simple 12V Eco storage to heated, connected Elite batteries for larger systems. Across the lineup, LiFePO4 can provide more routinely usable energy and steadier voltage than comparably sized lead-acid storage, with less watering and fewer bank connections. Choose the voltage, case and monitoring features that suit the RV you drive.

Na
So far working well. Ran my 12v fridge and heater all night and only used 5% of battery.
More than what I expected
The essential 460 amp hour batteries delivers more power than any other battery I’ve ever used. They have so much technology in the Batterie’s that the customers can view, all the information what’s going on inside of the batterie’s. It is mind blowing. I would recommend these batteries to everyone.
Amazing!! I Love it!!
This battery has far exceeded all of my expectations. I’m an off grid outdoorsman, this battery is powering my 27’ camp trailer. The technology here is a game changer. Absolutely NO comparison. I had to modify the rack/tray (as pointed out by sales rep) to accommodate the larger footprint of the battery (it is larger in all 3 dimensions LWH). 11 yr warranty! It’s a no brainer! First trip out 5 days. Lights, showers, pumped 35+ gallons water, phone chargers etc. still sitting at 13.4 volts. Same as when we started. (Did not need to run heat/AC). My old batteries would have been toast.
Excellent batteries
Two 12v 300ah Essential Series batteries connected parallel. Upgraded solar charger and distribution. Add cut-off switches, fuses and heavier cables to handle lithium. So happy that I completed this upgrade. Real test will come when I install a Victron 3000w 2x120 inverter. So far an easy and clean installation. Highly recommend EPOCH. Love the app to keep an eye on battery conditions. Photos later
Big power, small package
We have a Winnebago View with 2 new batteries in the battery box under the step Very nice!!!!
Great Single Battery
I haven't been out camping with my new 334Ah battery yet so I can only say that it's great just having to deal with one battery. This battery replaced two previous 100Ah batteries and was very easy to install into my factory Airstream battery box. The app seems to do a good job of providing data on the status of the battery including info on each cell. Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase.
