Epoch lithium RV batteries are drop-in LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) batteries for motorhomes, travel trailers, vans and campers. The range covers 12V, 24V and 48V systems from 50Ah to 460Ah, with self-heating models that charge safely below freezing, Bluetooth monitoring from your phone, and Elite Series models that talk directly to Victron GX equipment. Every battery has a built-in battery management system that protects against over-charge, over-discharge, short circuit and over-temperature, and each model carries a limited warranty of six or 11 years depending on its series.
Against the lead-acid bank they replace, these batteries deliver about twice the usable capacity at roughly half the weight, hold a steady voltage under load and need no maintenance, which is what lets a rig boondock for days on solar instead of running the generator every evening.
Use the comparison table below to weigh every model by price, capacity, stored energy, continuous output, weight, cycle life and warranty, filter the grid by system voltage or capacity, then read the buyer guide under the products for sizing a bank, matching your converter and alternator, adding solar and running air conditioning. Cycle life is rated per model, at the depth of discharge, charge rate and temperature stated on the datasheet, to its end-of-life capacity.
The best lithium RV batteries do more than replace an aging lead-acid bank. They deliver dependable off-grid energy, support demanding appliances and help you understand and protect your power system. Epoch Batteries offers LiFePO4 solutions for travel trailers, motorhomes, camper vans, fifth wheels, truck campers, skoolies and overland vehicles, with 12V, 24V and 48V options for builds of many sizes.
Choosing the right lithium battery for an RV starts with your daily energy use, inverter demand, charging sources, available space and travel climate. Epoch combines high-capacity storage with model-specific features such as Bluetooth monitoring, internal heating, rugged enclosures and native Victron communications.
A properly designed LiFePO4 RV battery system addresses several limitations of AGM and flooded lead-acid batteries:
For boondockers and full-time travelers, those advantages can mean longer stays away from hookups, less generator runtime and more confidence in the house battery bank.
An integrated Battery Management System helps protect against overcharge, excessive discharge, overcurrent, short circuits and unsafe temperatures. On Bluetooth-equipped Epoch batteries, a compatible phone can display information such as state of charge, voltage, current, temperature and alerts. Because LiFePO4 voltage remains relatively flat, BMS-based state-of-charge data is more useful than judging capacity from voltage alone.
LiFePO4 cells should not be charged below their approved minimum temperature without a suitable heating strategy. Select heated Epoch batteries warm their cells before normal charging begins, making them useful for winter camping, ski trips and batteries installed in cold compartments. Heating behavior and temperature limits vary by model.
Selected Epoch Elite Series and other designated models communicate with compatible Victron GX equipment. When installed and configured correctly, the battery can share state of charge, temperature, alarms and permitted charge or discharge limits. This supports coordinated charging and centralized system visibility through compatible Victron equipment.
Epoch’s current RV range includes model-specific IP54, IP65 and IP67 enclosure ratings. High-capacity options can also simplify a large bank: selected 12V 460Ah and 24V 230Ah batteries store approximately 5.89kWh in one case. Compare continuous output, charging limits, dimensions, terminals and communication features—not capacity alone. Warranty coverage varies by model and reaches up to 11 years.
Start with your daily energy use, largest appliance loads, available charging and desired reserve. Then choose the system voltage that best supports the RV or camper van.
A 12V lithium RV battery is the familiar choice for many factory-built trailers and motorhomes because lighting, pumps, fans and control systems commonly operate near 12 volts. Before converting, confirm lithium-compatible settings for the converter or inverter/charger, solar controller and alternator-charging system.
A 24V system can suit custom vans with medium-to-large inverters. For the same power, it carries about half the current of a 12V system, which can reduce voltage drop and make cable sizing more manageable when the installation is engineered correctly. A suitable converter can supply traditional 12V loads.
A 48V battery bank can support advanced vans, luxury fifth wheels and expedition rigs with substantial inverter loads. At equal wattage, it carries about one-quarter of the current of a 12V system. It also requires careful engineering and appropriate conversion for 12V equipment.
A large battery alone does not guarantee successful air-conditioner or inverter operation. Every component between the battery and appliance must safely support continuous current and startup demand. For a complex or high-power installation, consult an experienced RV electrical installer.
AGM batteries may cost less initially, but their voltage falls more steadily during discharge and can sag under heavy loads. They are also commonly planned around a more conservative depth of discharge to protect service life. LiFePO4 batteries provide steadier voltage, more usable energy and meaningful weight savings, but chargers and protection equipment must be configured for lithium chemistry.
Treat an RV lithium upgrade as a complete electrical-system project, not simply a one-for-one battery swap. Check charging profiles, alternator strategy, battery monitoring, cable ampacity, overcurrent protection and physical installation before connecting the new bank.
Whether you are upgrading a weekend trailer or building a Victron-powered camper van, match the battery to your loads, climate, space and charging plan. Compare Epoch lithium RV batteries by voltage, energy, output, weight, dimensions, heating, Bluetooth, enclosure rating, communications and warranty to create reliable off-grid power for the way you travel.

Most Reliable Batteries I've Ever Ran!
I've been running EPOCH batteries since early 2023 on my bass boat and my 5th wheel RV. I've ran multiple different styles of their 12V batteries, and I've never had any issues with them. As technology advances and they're able to create more amp hours; I continue to remain amazed with the uninterrupted performance I receive under harsh conditions all season.
Hella good battery
Gets the job done. I'll be buying more. Fast shipping too.
Game changer for my boat in Palmas - 48V offshore power
Installed this 48V 100Ah V2-T Elite on my own boat in Palmas del Mar, Humacao PR. This is not a customer job - this is my personal off-grid setup. Running full Victron system with it. The Bluetooth monitoring is solid, the internal heater works perfect not for us in the carribean but for those cold fronts, and the build quality is true marine grade. No more generator at anchor. Holds voltage like a rock under heavy inverter load. Epoch support and warranty is local to me which matters in PR. Highly recommend for any serious marine 48V build. 5 stars - will be ordering a second one
Almost Perfect
My battery failed at the end of August. I immediately tried to file a claim. Unfortunately the page I used to file was not working properly. After waiting two weeks, I called and discovered you never received my request. I refiled and my request was handled immediately. After 3 days of back and forth my claim was approved. It was shipped out and I received it a week later. Sadly it was already time to haul my boat out for the winter so it didn't make sense to reinstall the battery until next spring.
Great Batteries and great monitoring app
These things are great! I love the app, having used many brands as a professional, this is by far my favorite.
24 series 12v LiFePO4
First boondocking trip with the new batteries. 10 days, 0 issues. Best investment made for my trailer so far.
