“Drop-in” depends on the specific tray, hold-downs, cable lengths, fuse protection, controller, regenerative braking and charger-port wiring. Epoch's product selectors may offer “Other” rather than an ICON-specific bracket; verify the supplied hardware. ICON also states in its vehicle warranty terms that installing a lithium battery brand other than Eco Battery voids its ICON warranty. Check any remaining coverage before choosing this conversion.

Do not mix lithium and lead-acid batteries in one traction bank or assume the old AGM charger has the correct lithium profile. An older ICON can gain an easier battery routine when every part of its power system is matched to the kit.
