Charge a separate 12V auxiliary battery and a 36V trolling-motor battery from one compatible 12V or 24V starter-battery system.
The Epoch 12V/36V DC-to-DC charger turns engine-run time into managed auxiliary charging across the boat. One independent 12V / 10A output supports a house or electronics battery, while a second 36V / 10A output charges a compatible trolling-motor battery. Automatic source-voltage sensing, selectable battery profiles, lithium BMS activation, IP67 construction, and compact onboard mounting simplify mixed-voltage marine power management.

Modern bass boats can carry heavy 12V electronics loads and a high-capacity 36V trolling-motor battery. The CHG-DC-12V36V bridges those auxiliary systems to a compatible 12V or 24V starter-battery source without connecting the batteries directly together.
The input starter battery remains the source side. The 12V output is for a separate auxiliary or house battery; it should not be connected back to the same battery used as the charger input.
The independent outputs provide 12V / 10A and 36V / 10A. Use the 12V bank for a separate electronics, house, or secondary battery and the 36V bank for a compatible trolling-motor battery.
A 12V source starts charging above 13.8V and stops below 13.0V. A 24V source starts above 26.8V and stops below 25.2V. Hibernation reduces idle activity while the charger continues monitoring source voltage.
Each output supports LiFePO4, lead-acid, or AGM mode. Select the battery type before charging, and use the BMS activation function for a compatible sleeping lithium battery.
Supplement electronics and trolling-motor energy every time the source charging system is active.
With both outputs at full rating, the charger can provide approximately 120W to the 12V bank and 360W to the 36V bank—about 480W of aggregate nominal output before conversion losses.
That useful output also creates significant source-side demand, especially on a 12V system. Verify the outboard alternator or vehicle charging-system rating, starting-battery condition, existing electronics load, cable sizing, fuse protection, voltage drop, and available charging margin before commissioning.
Epoxy-filled ingress protection, active thermal management, and rigid onboard mounting.
Pure epoxy filling gives the enclosure a high ingress-protection rating for correctly installed onboard use. Protect the leads, terminals, glands, and connections, and do not treat IP67 as permission for intentional or permanent submersion.
This charger is not fanless. Its aluminum housing and bottom cooling plate work with a waterproof cooling fan. Maintain more than 30mm of clearance and never block the fan or heat-dissipation surfaces.
The 250 × 149 × 68mm enclosure uses 6.5mm mounting holes with M6 fasteners recommended. Secure the charger to a rigid surface and protect every lead from vibration, abrasion, heat, and sharp edges.

The charger does not require a published NMEA 2000 or proprietary data network. Connect the input pair to the compatible starter-battery source, the 12V output pair to a separate 12V auxiliary battery, and the 36V output pair to the compatible trolling-motor battery.
This is a non-isolated charger. Red and black conductors within the same cable jacket must connect to the same battery, and a black lead must never be landed on a terminal carrying red leads. Follow the supplied wiring diagram exactly.

Regulated charging does not remove the need to engineer the complete source and auxiliary circuits.
Verify source-system output, battery condition, fusing, cable ampacity, voltage drop, grounding, mounting, ventilation, chemistry settings, and auxiliary-battery limits. Disconnect and isolate all batteries before service. Never charge a frozen, damaged, or unsupported battery, and do not treat IP67 as permission for permanent submersion.
