Epoch Essential Series 24V 230Ah Marine & RV LiFePO4 Battery (5.89kWh)
A 24V 230Ah LiFePO4 battery built for marine, RV, solar, off-grid, and mobile 24V energy systems.
The Epoch Essential Series 24V 230Ah LiFePO4 battery is a high-capacity 24V marine lithium battery and 24V RV lithium battery with 5.89kWh of stored energy, internal self-heating, Bluetooth battery monitoring, a 200A continuous discharge rating, and IP54-rated protection. It is designed as a 24V deep cycle lithium battery for boat house banks, RV house battery replacement projects, trolling motor systems, solar storage, and off-grid power builds.
Built to go further
The Ultimate 24V Lithium Upgrade for Boats & RVs
Ditch heavy lead-acid batteries and simplify your 24-volt power system.
For boaters and RV owners, this 24V deep cycle lithium battery offers a cleaner way to power high-demand systems without wiring two heavy 12V batteries in series. The native 24V design reduces cable complexity, improves usable energy, and provides dependable power for house loads, marine electronics, trolling motors, inverters, solar charging, and off-grid boondocking.
With 230Ah of capacity and 5.89kWh of lithium storage, the battery gives RVers more usable off-grid energy and gives boat owners a powerful, space-saving upgrade for 24V marine systems.
Drop-In Power for 24V Trolling Motors & Marine House Banks
High-capacity lithium power for boats, electronics, and 24V trolling motor systems.
The 230Ah capacity offers long, fade-free 24V trolling motor and marine house-power runtime compared with AGM or flooded lead-acid banks. LiFePO4 chemistry holds voltage more consistently under load, helping compatible 24V motors and onboard electronics perform more steadily throughout the day.
Extended Boondocking for RVs & Camper Vans
5.89kWh of energy for 24V RV inverters, house loads, and solar systems.
A 200A continuous discharge BMS supports demanding 24V loads and properly designed inverter systems. At 24V class, 200A equals roughly 4,800W of DC power before system losses, making the battery a strong match for 3,000W or 4,000W 24V inverters when cable sizing, fusing, surge loads, and charger settings are correctly engineered.
Built for the Elements: Premium Essential Series Features
Smart heated lithium technology for marine compartments, RV battery bays, and off-grid systems.
Cold-Weather Ready with Internal Self-Heating
Internal heating pads help warm the cells before charging when temperatures are low. This is a major advantage for winter RVers, early-season boaters, and mobile systems that may charge in cold conditions.
Smart Bluetooth Monitoring via the Epoch App
Bluetooth monitoring provides real-time battery visibility from a smartphone without requiring a separate monitor or shunt for basic battery status. Check state of charge, voltage, current, temperature, and operating status through the Epoch Li-Ion app.
Rugged IP54 Protection & 11-Year Warranty
The IP54 rated enclosure is dust-protected and splash-resistant for protected marine compartments, RV battery bays, and mobile installations. It is backed by Epoch’s 11-year manufacturer warranty.

IP54 rated marine and RV protection
Dust-protected and splash-resistant for protected compartments.
IP54 weather resistance does not mean waterproof. Install this battery in a protected marine compartment, RV battery bay, or mobile power enclosure where it is shielded from submersion, pressure washing, standing water, and direct terminal exposure.
Use a proper 24V LiFePO4 charge profile
The right charger helps maximize performance and cycle life.
Use a lithium-compatible charger, RV converter, inverter charger, solar charge controller, or DC-to-DC charger programmed for 24V LiFePO4 operation. Recommended settings include 28.4V–28.8V bulk/absorption voltage, float disabled preferred or 26.6V–27.2V, 26.4V re-bulk, equalization disabled, and temperature compensation disabled.
Fitment and installation note
Verify your boat, RV, inverter, charger, and wiring before installation.
Always confirm tray dimensions, cable clearance, terminal torque, fuse ratings, charger compatibility, inverter settings, alternator charging strategy, and system current requirements before installation. Do not mix different battery models, capacities, ages, chemistries, or states of charge in the same battery bank.
Epoch 24V 230Ah Marine & RV Battery FAQs
Common questions about trolling motor use, RV inverters, freezing-temperature charging, Bluetooth monitoring, and parallel expansion.
Can I use this 24V 230Ah battery for my 24V trolling motor?
Yes. The Epoch 24V 230Ah LiFePO4 battery is a strong drop-in power source for compatible 24V trolling motors from brands such as Minn Kota, Garmin, MotorGuide, and others. Using one native 24V battery instead of two 12V batteries in series can save space, reduce weight, and simplify wiring. Always confirm motor voltage, current draw, breaker sizing, cable gauge, and charger compatibility before installation.
Will this battery safely charge in freezing temperatures?
Yes. This Essential Series battery includes internal heating. When the BMS detects that cell temperature is too low for safe charging, charging is blocked while the heater warms the cells. Charging resumes once the cells are within the safe temperature range and the BMS limits are satisfied.
What size inverter can this 24V battery handle for my RV?
This battery has a 200A continuous discharge rating. In a 24V-class system, 200A × 24V is about 4,800 watts, or about 5,120 watts at the 25.6V nominal voltage. That makes one battery a strong match for many 3,000W or 4,000W 24V inverter systems when cable size, fusing, inverter surge demand, and charger settings are properly designed.
How do I monitor the battery's charge level?
You can monitor the battery through the Epoch Li-Ion Bluetooth app for iOS and Android. The app connects to the internal BMS and can show key data such as state of charge, voltage, current, battery temperature, and operating status from your phone.
Can I wire multiple 24V 230Ah batteries together for more capacity?
Yes. Parallel wiring can increase amp-hour capacity and runtime while keeping the system at 24V. Epoch’s manual shows planning examples for 2, 3, and 4 batteries in parallel and advises using identical batteries, balanced wiring, common busbars, proper fusing, and current Epoch guidance before finalizing a bank.
Do I need a special charger for this LiFePO4 battery?
Yes. Use a 24V LiFePO4-compatible charger, inverter charger, RV converter, solar charge controller, or DC-to-DC charger. Recommended settings include 28.4V–28.8V bulk/absorption, float disabled preferred or 26.6V–27.2V, 26.4V re-bulk, equalization disabled, and temperature compensation disabled.
Can this replace two 12V batteries wired in series?
Yes, in compatible systems. A single native 24V battery can replace two 12V batteries wired in series when tray fitment, cable length, charger profile, system voltage, inverter settings, and current requirements all match the new lithium battery.
Is the 24V 230Ah battery waterproof?
This model is IP54 rated, meaning it is dust-protected and splash-resistant. It is suitable for protected RV battery bays, marine compartments, and mobile power systems, but it should not be submerged, pressure washed, or installed where standing water can collect around the case or terminals.
