The 12-volt battery is the foundation of countless RV, marine, solar and mobile power systems, but traditional flooded lead-acid and AGM batteries come with familiar compromises. They are heavy, slow to reach a complete charge, require conservative depth-of-discharge planning and lose voltage as stored energy is used. That falling voltage can dim lights, weaken motors and cause inverters or sensitive electronics to shut down earlier than expected.
Epoch 12V lithium batteries replace that aging technology with modern LiFePO4 chemistry, an integrated Battery Management System and substantially more usable deep-cycle energy. A 12V LiFePO4 battery maintains steadier voltage, weighs far less than a comparable lead-acid battery and requires no watering or acid cleanup. It is a high-performance 12 volt lithium ion battery replacement for compatible RV house systems, boats, trolling motors, solar banks and portable power projects.
Select Epoch models use familiar BCI footprints, including Group 24, Group 27, Group 31 and Group 8D formats. This can make a physical drop-in 12V lithium battery upgrade much easier, but fitment is only one part of the conversion. Always verify compartment dimensions, terminal clearance, charger settings, wiring, fusing, current demand and alternator or solar charging compatibility before installation.
The representative graph below illustrates why lithium-powered equipment can feel stronger for longer. A 12.8V-nominal LiFePO4 battery holds a relatively flat operating voltage through most of its usable capacity, while a 12V lead-acid battery declines more steadily as the discharge progresses.
For an RV, travel trailer or van, a 12V battery commonly serves as the house-power foundation for refrigeration, LED lighting, roof fans, water pumps, controls, communications and inverter loads. The best 12V lithium battery for an RV depends on daily watt-hour use, inverter output, charging sources and available space—not simply the largest amp-hour rating. Explore Epoch's RV, van and camper lithium batteries for application-focused options.
A 12V marine lithium battery can power compatible trolling motors, fish finders, chartplotters, livewells, lighting, pumps and onboard accessories. Compact models are especially useful for kayaks and small boats where every pound matters. Match the battery's continuous-discharge rating to the motor or combined electronics load, and use a dedicated cranking-rated or dual-purpose battery when engine starting is required. Browse marine lithium batteries and lithium trolling motor batteries by application.
A 12V lithium solar battery is a practical building block for cabins, mobile work trailers, communications equipment, portable power boxes and emergency backup systems. Calculate energy needs in watt-hours, then size the battery bank, inverter, solar array, charge controller, cables and overcurrent protection as one coordinated system. For example, a nominal 12.8V 100Ah battery stores approximately 1.28kWh before accounting for system losses and reserve capacity.
Epoch's 12V 50Ah Essential Series battery stores 640Wh and weighs approximately 14.3 pounds. It is a strong fit for compact trolling motors within its current rating, fish finders, portable electronics, small solar systems, teardrop campers and other installations where low weight and a small footprint matter most.
The 100Ah class is a common replacement size for RV and marine house batteries. Epoch's 12V 100Ah Eco Series stores 1.28kWh in a 21-pound Group 24 case, while the 12V 105Ah Essential Series stores 1.34kWh and adds Bluetooth monitoring and internal heating in a 22.1-pound Group 24 footprint. These capacities suit weekend boondocking, trolling, marine electronics, backup power and general deep-cycle use when their output ratings match the connected equipment.
Large batteries can consolidate the capacity of several smaller units and reduce parallel jumpers, terminals and balancing complexity. The 12V 300Ah Essential Series battery stores 3.84kWh in a Group 31 footprint, while Epoch's 460Ah options store 5.89kWh for large RV, marine and off-grid systems. A high amp-hour rating does not by itself guarantee compatibility with an air conditioner or large inverter; verify BMS output, surge current, cable size, fuse class, busbars, inverter efficiency and recharge capacity for the complete load.

Most Reliable Batteries I've Ever Ran!
I've been running EPOCH batteries since early 2023 on my bass boat and my 5th wheel RV. I've ran multiple different styles of their 12V batteries, and I've never had any issues with them. As technology advances and they're able to create more amp hours; I continue to remain amazed with the uninterrupted performance I receive under harsh conditions all season.
Hella good battery
Gets the job done. I'll be buying more. Fast shipping too.
Almost Perfect
My battery failed at the end of August. I immediately tried to file a claim. Unfortunately the page I used to file was not working properly. After waiting two weeks, I called and discovered you never received my request. I refiled and my request was handled immediately. After 3 days of back and forth my claim was approved. It was shipped out and I received it a week later. Sadly it was already time to haul my boat out for the winter so it didn't make sense to reinstall the battery until next spring.
Great Batteries and great monitoring app
These things are great! I love the app, having used many brands as a professional, this is by far my favorite.
24 series 12v LiFePO4
First boondocking trip with the new batteries. 10 days, 0 issues. Best investment made for my trailer so far.
Na
So far working well. Ran my 12v fridge and heater all night and only used 5% of battery.
