The Epoch 24V 230Ah V2 is a premium 24V 230Ah LiFePO4 battery built for demanding marine, RV, off-grid solar, and trolling motor systems. This 5.89kWh lithium battery combines a Group 8D footprint, IP67 waterproof protection, internal self-heating, Bluetooth monitoring, Victron CANBus communication, and an 11-year warranty in one high-output Epoch V2 Elite Series platform.

Use this Victron compatible lithium battery with compatible Cerbo GX, Ekrano GX, and other GX device installations. CANBus battery communication lets the BMS share battery data with the Victron system for smarter monitoring and DVCC-controlled charging when configured according to Epoch guidance.
The heated 24V LiFePO4 design uses internal heating pads to warm the cells before charging in freezing weather. This helps protect the battery from low-temperature charge damage and supports charging down to -22°F / -30°C when sufficient charge current is available.
The Bluetooth lithium battery platform connects to the Epoch app so users can monitor state of charge, voltage, current flow, temperature, cycle count, and battery alerts directly from a smartphone. The V2 platform also supports improved multi-battery dashboard visibility.

The V2 Elite platform uses CANBus communication so the battery BMS can share data with compatible Victron OS systems. For Victron installations, configure the communication harness, DIP switches, BMS-CAN or VE.CAN port speed, DVCC, controlling BMS, and battery monitor according to Epoch setup instructions. For non-Victron systems, manually program all charge sources to Epoch’s recommended 24V charging parameters.

The IP67-rated enclosure helps protect the battery from dust and temporary water immersion up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. It is well suited for demanding RV, marine, overland, and off-grid environments, but should still be installed securely with protected cabling and kept away from unnecessary pressure washing, standing water, or mechanical damage.

Yes. The Epoch V2 Elite Series includes CANBus communication for compatible Victron GX devices, including Cerbo GX and Ekrano GX installations. When installed with the proper communication harness, DIP switch settings, and BMS-CAN or VE.CAN configuration, the battery’s internal BMS can report battery data to the Victron system and support DVCC-controlled charging.
LiFePO4 batteries should not be charged when the cells are below freezing. This heated 24V LiFePO4 battery uses internal heating pads controlled by the BMS. When charging is attempted in cold conditions, available incoming charge current is used to warm the cells first. Once the cells reach a safe charging temperature, normal charging resumes automatically. Epoch lists the charge temperature range as down to -22°F / -30°C with self-heating.
