Victron and charging setup note
Program all charge sources for a 48V LiFePO4 profile.
For non-Victron systems, use compatible lithium charging equipment programmed to approximately 56.8V absorption, 54.0V float, equalization disabled, and temperature compensation disabled. For Victron systems, connect the communication harness to the GX device, enable DVCC, and set Epoch as the controlling BMS and battery monitor.
Always follow the product label, current Epoch manual, charger documentation, and project-specific engineering requirements. The internal Class-T fuse improves source protection and helps simplify ABYC-aware marine system planning, but it does not replace correct downstream protection, cable sizing, or a complete system protection plan.
